Yeah I know the game you're talking about. It's magic the gathering from around 1997. They made one or 2 expansions for it Whenever I played that mode, I could never buy cards in the towns/stores. It would say to press 'B' or something like that to buy the cards but, it would never work. I was very upset about that but, the game was pretty fun & the idea was good. You play in a game world as a fighter/planeswalker and you have your card collection. The game has random battles with monsters & other personas, you can choose to go into extra areas get special cards. The game has dungeons with special rules. And an added challenge was that you kept your card collection through out that game. Would be smart to make another action-rpg type game like that & you play magic duels.
